Natal wrasse (Anchichoerops natalensis) are endemic, residential fish found in rocky and coral reefs. Natal wrasse were listed as Least Concern on The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. They are fully protected in South African waters and fishing of any kind is strictly prohibited.
