National Biodiversity Assessment) or an international list (E.g. The IUCN Red List for Threatened Species).
Natal stumpnose ( Rhabdosargus sarba) are endemic fish found in estuaries distributed in coastal waters from KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa to Mozambique. Natal stumpnose are listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. This species is rated as a no-sale species within South Africa only recreational fishers with a permit may catch them following daily bag (5 pp/pd) and minimum size (25 cm) limits. Recreational fishers are not allowed to sell their catches.
