National Biodiversity Assessment) or international list (E.g. The IUCN Red List for Threatened Species).

Bronze Bream (Pachymetopon grande) are highly resident endemic fish species found along the KwaZulu-Natal coastline to Struisbaai in the Western Cape. It is listed as Near Threatened on the IUCN Red List for Threatened Species. This species is rated as a no-sale species within South Africa, only recreational fishers with a permit may catch them following a minimum size (30 cm TL) and a daily bag limit (2 pp/pd).
